Jepa Lambert: Soulful Christmas

Description

Soul Singer Jepa Lambert, a familiar face from TV shows, is bringing her Soulful Christmas tour to concert halls
Finland’s best-known soul singer, Jepa Lambert, will embark on another highly anticipated Soulful Christmas concert tour in late 2026. This year, the tour, which has moved audiences in atmospheric churches in the past, will bring the artist to some of the most magnificent concert halls around Finland in 14 different municipalities. On Wednesday 9 December, Lambert will come to the Savoy Theatre in Helsinki together with the Sounds of Mercy gospel choir.
“I wanted to bring the atmosphere of an African-American Christmas church to the concert halls – that joy and sense of empowerment, but also the peace, warmth and presence of other people,” Lambert says, describing the upcoming tour.
Soulful Christmas offers a unique musical experience for the Christmas season, combining the warm Christmas spirit with the communal power of swinging soul and gospel music. The concerts feature beloved Christmas classics and new soulful arrangements that – through the depth of soul music, the joy of gospel music and a groovy live show – can help the audience calm down and enjoy the warmth and slow pace of the Christmas season. Lambert will be joined on the stage by top musicians, namely Pianist Maria Ilmoniemi and Guitarist-Singer Teri Mantere, as well as Singers Jonnu Heikkilä and Elli Kyyrö from the Jepan Gospel Group, to which Mantere also belongs.
“Even if you come to my concert alone, you don’t have to be alone there, no one does. I want everyone to be able to feel a sense of community and to be moved by the music and for the music to speak to them,” Lambert says.
Lambert is one of the most versatile artists in the Finnish music scene. She has become known to the general public from TV shows such as Elämäni biisi and The Voice of Finland and through her numerous appearances on Finnish and international artists’ tours. Moreover, Lambert has been a backing vocalist for Finnish representatives at the Eurovision Song Contest for several years. Lambert’s strong interpretation skills, warm charisma and exceptional voice have made her a sought-after performer on tours and television alike.
