Kamarikesä: Hear Tomorrow

The October concert focuses on atmospheric flute music.
Cliodhna Scott, together with Samuel Eriksson and Eliel Lahesmaa, has chosen to perform works ranging from Bach to rarely heard gems of the flute repertoire.
The first half features Robert Muczynski's duets and Johann Sebastian Bach's flute sonata in B minor. The second half immerses the audience in the world of the romantic and lively flute sonata by the French composer Mel Bonis.
The evening concludes with a calming atmosphere, a "night soliloquy," in the work "Night Soliloquy" by American composer Kent Kennan.
