Moving in Novmeber – Choreographic Convention

Description

Choreographic Convention takes place on Friday 13th of November, spreading across Helsinki, in the frame of Moving in November.
The day unfolds through different routes – in French, parcours – each with its own programme and dramaturgy. Participants choose one parcours and follow it from beginning to end together with their group.
Read more about the event, the parcour routes and their schedules on the Moving in November website.
Throughout the day, you will witness and take part in artistic interventions, performative gestures, etudes, spaces of research and reflection, choreographic encounters, performances, workshops – from short, over one-to-one, to long-durational formats. While moving from one place to the other in your group, you will have the time to get to know each other, be in conversation and reflect on what you have seen and experienced
Choreographic Convention is a yearly professional platform/symposium within the European network Life Long Burning in 2023–2026. This time taking place in Helsinki, Moving in November invites the public to join as well.
