A charity concert in support of Ukrainian children
The National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine is coming to Finland for the first time as part of the special Louder Than Sirens charity concert tour. The concert is held under the patronage of Olena Zelenska, First Lady of Ukraine, and Suzanne Innes-Stubb, spouse of the President of the Republic of Finland.
Internationally renowned soprano Karita Mattila will appear as a special guest. The concert will also feature Ukrainian and Finnish opera singers Sergii Magera (bass), Serhii Hurets (tenor), Olena Arbuzova (coloratura soprano), Jyrki Anttila (tenor), and child soloist Nadiia Liesnikova, winner of the Dity Help Music competition.
The programme features masterpieces of classical music and timeless hits in powerful new rock arrangements. Louder Than Sirens brings together symphonic music, opera and rock in a celebration of music, solidarity and hope.
The concert aims to raise €150,000 to build a safe civil defence shelter for children at a school in Ukraine. The event is also an expression of gratitude to the Finnish people for their support of Ukraine.
Experience music that rises above the sirens.
