Description
Performing at November's Perinnearkkuklubi are Jakob & Minna and Rautakoura!
Jakob & Minna is an acoustic vocal and guitar duo featuring Finnish singer-songwriter Jakob Frankenhaeuser and vocalist Minna Kare.
Their timeless music draws its expressive power and authenticity from American roots music, with a focus on powerful vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars, and the stories behind the songs.
Their repertoire features stripped-down duo arrangements of Jakob’s original songs, new material, and carefully crafted interpretations of key artists in roots music.
Rautakoura plays indie folk, bluegrass, and something in between. The band was formed over 20 years ago, and its popularity has continued to grow ever since.
Their latest EP, “Polku,” was released in spring 2025, with a new release planned for winter 2027.
The band consists of Lauri Häme (banjo, guitar, vocals), Juho Häme (bass, guitar, vocals), Matti Mikkelä (mandolin, guitar, vocals), and Pekka Pyysalo (guitar, vocals).
