Valkotakit & Artturi Aalto

The Valkotakit symphony orchestra of the Medical Students’ Association and cellist Artturi Aalto will perform at the House of Nobility.
The poignantly beautiful concert will feature Brahms’s overture “Tragic,” Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor, and Schubert’s Symphony No. 8, “Unfinished.”
The soloist will be Artturi Aalto, winner of the 2026 Turku Cello Competition. The concert will be conducted by Tapio von Boehm.
Valkotakit is the symphony orchestra of the Medical Students’ Association at the University of Helsinki. Founded in 1969, the orchestra consists of students and alumni from both the Faculty of Medicine and other academic disciplines.
